Seserius Itu - Part 2

Assalamu'alaykum Warrahmatullahi Wabaraktuh
"Hai anakku, sesungguhnya engkau telah berpisah dengan rumahmu, tempat darinya engkau berangkat dan naungan di mana engkau dibesarkan di sana, menuju seorang laki-laki yang belum engkau kenal dan suami yang belum engkau kasihi. Maka jadilah engkau baginya seorang ibu, niscaya ia akan menjadi hamba bagimu. Hafalkan untuknya 10 perkara nicaya itu akan menjadi tabungan kebaikan bagi hidupmu.

Seserius Itu - Part 1

Assalamu'alaykum Warrahmatullahi Wabaraktuh

Sudah lama tidak menulis lagi
Hampir 6 bulan lamanya

"Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhuriyyatina qurrata A'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama."
"Our Lord! grant us in our mates and offspring the joy of our eyes and make us patterns for those who guard against evil." (QS. 25:74)

“...there is no way to determine the good from bad except through their teachings (of the Prophets). Allah’s pleasure is never gained except through their example. Good actions, sayings and manners are only attained through the guidance they brought.
-
The Prophets are the scale by which our actions, sayings and manners must be weighed. And their example is the criterion between the people of guidance and those of misguidance.
-
We are in need of following their examples more than a body needs its soul, and more than an eye needs light to be able to see. In fact, every decreed obligation is surpassed by the obligation of following the example of the Prophets. If we neglect doing so for the blink of an eye then our hearts will become corrupt, just like a fish becomes when it is taken out of water.
-
Since happiness in this life and the Hereafter is linked with following the example of Prophet Muhammad ‎(‎‎Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), a wise person who is seeking his own happiness and salvation must gain enough knowledge regarding the Prophet’s ‎‎(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) guidance and biography. This way he becomes a true follower and joins the party of the Prophet Muhammad ‎(‎Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).
-
In this regard, there are those who gain a lot of knowledge, those who gain only a little of it, and others who are deprived of it. Allah grants goodness to whomever He wishes. Indeed, Allah grants great bounties.” (by Ibn Al Qayyim (Rahimahullah) in Zaad Al Ma’’aad, 69/1)
-
“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often.”
(Quran, 33:21)

One of the ways to implement upright moral character is to perform acts of generosity and kindness, even when facing difficulties ourselves. Generosity is not limited to wealth as some people may think. Rather, generosity includes extending personal help, or using one's ability to help others, in addition to giving wealth.

When we see a person taking care of the need of others, assisting them in many matters, spreading knowledge amongst them, and spending money on them, we describe them as having good character, since they are performing acts of kindness.

Abu Dharr narrated that the Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ‎‬ said:
"Fear Allah wherever you are, follow up a bad deed with a good one, it will wipe it out, and behave well with the people." (Jaami' at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1987)
Furthermore Abu Dharr also narrated that the Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ‎‬ said:
"Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you." (Jaami' at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1956)
Allah has praised those who excuse the people who overlook acts of ill treatment against them, describing the people who will attain His mercy:
"And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous. Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good." (Quran, 3:132-134)
Allah also says in another Surah the following:
"Good deeds and bad deeds cannot be equal. Respond with what is better, and suddenly, the one who had animosity for you will be like a close friend. And it is not granted except to those who have patience, and it is not granted except to those who have a great share." (Quran: 41:34-35)
